Gaurav Singla

Hello, I am Dr. Gaurav Singla, DMD, a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and Oral Oncologist, currently serving as a part-time Clinical Instructor at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry.

I began my dental journey in India, earning my BDS in 2003, followed by operating a private dental practice. After relocating to Canada, I completed the International Dentist Degree Program at the University of Manitoba, graduating with First Class Honours. From 2013, I practiced in Northern Alberta, first as an associate and later as the owner of Cygnet Dental in Grande Prairie.

Throughout my general practice, I actively pursued advanced training in aesthetic, restorative, and microscopic dentistry as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. My passion for restoring smiles inspired me to transition into specialized training. I sold my practice and returned to the University of Manitoba to complete a Graduate Prosthodontics program.

Following this, I undertook a Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oral Oncology Fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and later completed the Gerald N. Graser Surgical Implant Fellowship at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester.

Currently, I balance private practice with teaching and am dedicated to treating patients with maxillofacial prosthetics and traditional prosthodontics. Beyond dentistry, I enjoy reading, music, traveling, and spending time with my wife, Reema, our three daughters—Liesha, Purvi, and Heena—and our spirited dog, Dobby.
