The Canadian Dental Specialties Association supports up to four student travel awards each year. This award recognizes student excellence in research at a Canadian dental specialty training program.

The award is given to students who are undertaking dental specialty training in a recognized Canadian dental specialty, and who will be presenting their research at an international scientific conference.

Preference will be given to students who are lead authors of a selected abstract for an international scientific conference, first for oral presentations, then for poster presentations.

The value of the award will be variable, covering travel expenses up to a maximum of $1000 CAD for each student according to CDSA travel policy and procedures.
